The ideal candidate will work with the owner and senior management to provide effective guidance and financial counseling to control the business. Responsibilities include, general accounting, accounts payables, accounts receivables, fixed asset management, inventory management, cash flow optimization, billing, cost accounting, TTB alcohol and other non-financial reporting, financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and planning. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred. Five years experience maintaining GAAP and five years management experience.
Product Development Specialist
The ideal candidate will be able to successfully work within the Product Development Team, as well as directly with Vitality Work's Owner, to help assist the company in developing and launching new product to the Private Label and Contract Sales channel. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: developing/editing and reviewing master formula sheets prior to manufacturing, sourcing new and existing raw materials and packaging for products as needed, , preparing prototypes for customer review and formulation stability, setting up formula costing and customer proposals, and troubleshooting/problem solving on formulation or other product development issues. Bachelor's of Science or related field and/or experience in product development in the herbal, dietary, botanical, pharmaceutical, or other manufacturing type industry required.
The ideal candidate will maintain IT infrastructure required to support day‐to‐day operations and business initiatives as well as support the exploration, development and implementation of new business unit initiatives. This person will oversee the information technology activities and goals of the organization; researching and implementing technological strategic solutions in both an office and manufacturing setting. Knowledge of MRP and ERP systems such as Deacom ERP or a similar system. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or computer related degree or equivalent experience.
Industrial Mechanic II
About the Industrial Mechanic Position: This position is responsible for the rebuilding, repairing and maintenance of specialized automated processing, packaging and auxiliary equipment used primarily in the food processing industry. Work includes, but is not limited to troubleshooting equipment, reading and interpreting manuals and work orders, maintaining a clean, safe work environment, and active participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Account Customer Care Specialist
Provide customer service to KEY contract accounts by communicating with customers via phone and email regarding new orders, order status and shipment information. Process new orders and communicate inter-departmentally to address order progress, issues and status. Evaluate, analyze, resolve and/or communicate and appropriately forward any order complaints, product, order or service issues. Three to five years previous customer service experience helpful.
Production Technician II
The ideal candidate will be a motivated and dedicated individual that will be able to operate and maintain our processing and packaging equipment. In regards to the packaging area, the ideal candidate will be expected to be able to help operate semi and fully automatic production machines. Furthermore, this person will be expected to perform the sanitation of utensils, equipment, as well as performing complex formula mixing. The ideal candidate must be able to multitask, know basic math, work in a face paced environment, and have the ability to read temperature gauges, scales, and cylinders, amongst other skills. High school dipolma, GED, or sufficient experience required.
Material Handler Technician I
The ideal candidate will help facilitate the flow of materials throughout our warehouse and production areas. An overview of responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supplying production areas, returning and locating all ingredients from production areas to storage, locating materials for inventory control, performing cycle counts, and maintaining the warehouse as a clean and organized area. The ideal candidate will be expected to know basic math skills, possess organizational skills, as well as the ability to lift or move heavy boxes, drums, etc. on a regular basis. Ability to communicate- both verbal and written- as well as working within a team setting in a fast paced environment is expected as well. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 75 lbs. and move 500 lb drum dolly on a regular basis. Prior warehouse experience a plus.
PL Fulfillment Technician I
The ideal candidate will be able to prepare PL finished product for final assembly and shipment. This individual will be expected to help maintain PL stock inventory by restocking product, rotating PL stock inventory using FIFO (first in, first out) principals, verify that all paperwork regarding product is accurate, pick orders for final assembly, pack orders for shipment, ship orders in company specific systems (DEACOM/UPS Worldship), and assuring proper items and lots have been assigned to sales orders, amongst other duties as needed. The ideal candidate will be expected to know basic math skills, possess organizational skills, as well as the ability to lift or move heavy boxes, drums, etc. on a regular basis.
